Hall A Coordinating Committee  meeting May 10, 2007.

In attendance:  Tim Holmstrom (chair, TH),Xiaodong Jiang (XJ), 
		Kent Paschke (KP), Kees de Jager (CdJ).


1) Upcoming collaboration meeting.  TH asks KP to make draft 
   agenda. Meeting will cover Thursday and Friday, June 21-22.
   (probably not Saturday).  Beyond standard progress reports, 
   Over the next week, CC members will suggest talks which will
   support or develop the Hall A program.

2) Proposal Review.  TH will send out an email to establish 
   a deadline for CC review of proposals to the upcoming PAC.
   It is agreed that any proposal review not completed before
   the PAC submission deadline will not recieve Hall A status
   until after the PAC process. 

3) Election Results: The recent election results are in.  
   Pete Markowitz and Rob Feuerbach will start their term 
   on the CC on June 21, at a morning CC meeting (8:15, 
   before the Hall A Collaboration meeting).

4) Director Search: CdJ reports that a subset of the search 
   committee for the new laboratory director will be meeting 
   with JLab Users for 2 hours on June 5. Ron Gilman is taking 
   the lead on this meeting.

5) Collaboration reminders: 
   - XJ points out that the present experiment is having trouble
     filling shifts.  CdJ suggests that a reminder to this effect 
     from the CC to the Hall A Collaboration would be appropriate. 
     TH will follow up.
   - TH also agrees to send out an email reminding Hall A Users of 
     the poster competition at the Summer User's Group meeting.
