| How to switch off the electron detector ? |
Put the electron detector on the GARAGE position.
If you plan not to use the electron detector for
a long period of time it is always safer to put the detector in garage position
and to switch off the main power switch.
Check the status of the electron detector on
the video screen : The arrow must be exactly in front
of OUT (outside) nominal position.

Turning the system off
In hall A there is an
electrical box called A-UH-B1 left of the stairs going to the tunnel (see map below).
In this box, the main power switch for the electron detector is number 21 (it says electron
detector on it). It must be on turned OFF. In the tunnel,
there is a crate attached to the wall above the electron detector, it also needs to be turned OFF.
When it is OFF a red LED is switched off (at the right end of the crate).
