How to switch off the laser ?  
On the EPICS control panel, pull the "OPTICS" menu down. Click on "Mini Optic".

To turn the Laser Off .... Click on the Laser Off button.
Check LASER STATUS and INCIDENT POWER.
The Laser spots would switch off on the CCD control TV screen
