How to run the Target VNC servers

The VNC servers are used to watch the lasers and the spectrum analyzer. The laser computer in the laser lab is "he3laser" and looks at the lasers while the spectrum analyzer computer is "pol3he2" and is down in the Hall.

• On the main target control computer, double-click on the VNC Viewer icon on the desktop.


• A window should pop up. It will already have a few server names and IP addresses stored.


• For laser camera, choose he3laser from the drop-down menu and click OK, and then enter password !he3laser! in the password window that follows.


• Now, double-click on the VNC Viewer icon on the desktop again.


• For the laser spectrum, choose pol3he2 from the drop-down menu and click OK, and then enter password !pol3he! in the password window that follows.
