Waiting for SRC to end; shall put all 3 channels in the test lab. (Bogdan) Shower detector cosmics going well. 1st scan will be done by the end of this week. Issues ~with pick-up coils -> It's necessary to have adjustibility/clearance. ~with laser beam stop -> tilt the beam stop by about 45 degrees so as to prevent the reflection from depolarizing the cell. ~in-box real-estate -> need to be able to life the target ladder high enough so as to enable frequent measurements of magnetic field direction. Discussions about the pipe taking hot air to the oven: vent the hot air out through the same pipe. maybe, glue the flange to the pipe? ~top-of-box real-estate -> how much room do we need? specially with the new 4 meter pathlength. Also, JP would like to begin testing in the new laser building ASAP, independent of the optics design status. ~GC will have a nominally working target system ready between Jun1, and Jul1. Whether to keep making more cells will depend on the test results of earlier cells. ~Magnet box power supply to be provided by the accelerator group. #New laser building# Enclosure is small for magnet box with the optic bench on top. Would like to start off testing with different optics setup till the final version is ready; the optics setup needn't be coupled to the magnet box. Might have to move the optics table a little from it's current proposed position.
