I will be at the meeting this morning, but in the interest of speeding my
part I wanted to send my contribution out a little early:

Target Update for 7/20/2005

What has been accomplished:

Heater line in place
-- new filter system in place
-- heaters connected to pipes
-- heaters connected to controllers
-- controllers have been checked out

Temporary Oven in Place
-- temporary windows installed
-- flange to connect to old set up machined, fired and installed
-- blank ready to be installed to test oven
-- mounted old cell (Vega) in place
   -- low polarization
   -- short lifetime
   -- ice cone cell

NMR system nearly ready to go:
-- Need new coils (damaged in preparing to install)
-- Should be ready this afternoon

Laser system:
-- laser installed and in interlock
-- temporary mirrors nearly installed

Necessary for Signal:
-- Check out oven (run with blank in place), this afternoon
-- Change over to cell, tonight or tomorrow
-- Put polaraized light on cell (per Ameya)
-- measure signal (need good coils, but then all I need is a signal)

Necessary for August 1 milestone:
-- Mount GEn cell in new flange (get cell from Gordon or Todd)
   -- Prefer small chamber (currently using small optics)
-- Assemble and mount new oven 
-- To meet the milestone we MUST have the new oven as soon as possible.
-- Anything else?
