Bi-Weekly GEn Meeting Wednesday, November 10, 2004; 10:30 - 11:45am Attendees : T.Averett, G.Cates, A.Gavalya, A.Kelleher, A.Kolarkar, A.Shahinyan, N.Thompson, B.Wojtsekhovski, missed one !! 1) Neutron detector software development Neil gave an overview of the class structure (i.e. apparatus, detector, hit classes), and talked about forming single bar hits, calibrations using real data (attenuation length, time resolution etc.), forming clusters. 2) Albert is focussing on JLab modules. So far 60 detectors (~25%) have been tested. He is expecting modules from Glasgow soon. 3) GEn target design Alan Gavalya showed drawings of the entire target system setup. A few modifications were suggested, but the overall picture is satisfactory. The production drawings should be ready by December 1. Al showed us a piece of reticulated ceramic, which might be incorporated into the design. The advantages were discussed. The drawings can be seen at http://www.jlab.org/~gavalya/GEN/
