PVDIS Run Information

• The experiment is scheduled to run from November 3 to December 23, 2009, including thanksgiving period (although we cannot promise turkey, snacks will be provided in the counting house on Thanksgiving night). The changeover from HAPPEX-III will occur from October 29 to November 2. For accelerator schedule, click here.
• PVDIS calendar(last updated 11/18/09. This table provides a summary of kinematics changes, pass changes, and other important stuff)
• PVDIS kinematics.  Current kinematics settings are:
• Left arm: 12.9 degrees, -3.66 GeV/c
• Right arm: 20.0 degrees, -2.63 GeV/c
• Raster size: 6x6 MCC units on LD2 cell during production
• Nominal beam position: See whiteboard
• Detectors: on both arms, all detectors EXCEPT VDC should be turned on during production. VDCs will be turned on for low current tests such as Q2 measurements.

• EH&S documents: COO, ESAD, RSAD, and the updated RSAD radiation budget form for 20-cm/125uA max current running.
• Beam requirement: version 2 (updated 11/4/09).
