    STATUS UPDATE:

We are presently in an elastic-H configuration with the LHRS in positive
polarity and the the Calorimeter set to catch the electrons.

Last night Swing and Owl were focused on debugging the calorimeter
trigger. The experts were able to verify that the calorimeter is seeing
coincidences, but problems remain with at least one of the three crates
associated with the Calorimeter readout. This will be looked into
    during Day shift today.

The issue with S1 stealing the timing from S2 in the retiming circuit
seems to have been fixed by yesterday's work. However, the LHRS elastic
singles rates from last night are significantly below expectations. The
trigger electronics will be investigated during day shift.

The Compton group ran a beam current scan and ran some tests with
different Pb filter thicknesses yesterday. Analysis of those data are
    underway.

We experienced the LHRS dipole NMR lock dropping out several times
during OWL last night. There were also difficulties getting the LHRS to
rotate to a new angle (bogeys kept tripping off, possible communication/
controls glitch?). These issues will be looked at during Beam Studies
    today.

    UPCOMING SHIFTS:

THURSDAY DAY shift will be largely consumed by beam studies. We will be
in Controlled Access from roughly 9am through 1pm. Items to be
    investigated in the Hall include:
      - Calorimeter DAQ
      - LHRS trigger rate/efficiency questions
      - fill the Moller dewar
      - investigate NMR lock instability on LHRS dipole
      - investigate the LHRS bogie controls

We should be locking up the Hall around 1pm so MCC can begin some
injector tuning to correct halo issues in the Hall A line when Hall C is
running at high current. This will require the Hall A Compton photon
detector to be up and running.

    SWING -> OWL
After the injector work (late Day, early Swing), we will attempt to
complete the BCM calibration for Hall A. This is largely driven by MCC,
but the shift crew need to run the DAQ to collect the data we need on
    our end.

Assuming the BCM calibration is successful, one of the first things to
be done when beam returns (late DAY, early SWING) will be Kalyan's Lumi
linearity test. This will take about an hour with a series of short
    runs at different beam currents.

The rest of the evening evening (Swing and Owl) will be focused on
debugging/commissioning the Calorimeter and combined DAQ. It will be
largely expert-driven (Alex, Carlos, Julie, etc).

FRIDAY DAY shift will see an Arc energy measurement starting at 9am,
followed by a Moller measurement (starting around 11am?).

Friday Swing and Owl will be continue the debugging/commissioning the
Calorimeter and combined DAQ. It will be largely expert-driven (Alex,
    Carlos, Julie, etc).

    LONGER TERM ITEMS:

     * A full spin dance will be deferred to next week (if possible,
the Hall C Moller should be running for this)
     * LHRS polarity back to negative (on Friday if ready, probably Monday)
       - we need more sieve data (in particular) to complete the optics
         calibration on the LHRS
     * Compton (Eric) would like to do a "Table scan". This will take
roughly 1 hour and will require modest beam current (20--30 uA).
     * There will be downtime to the Hall due to some LCW work scheduled for
Tuesday (19th). This could be up to 12 hours. There is a meeting
with Facilities at MCC after the Friday 8am meeting to get more
       information.
