It is computed using a TCL script halla_scaler_process.tcl.
This script uses a local copy of the scaler.map file which
for historical reasons has a different syntax from the one
used by the analyzer. (Many cooks of the broth ...)
Up to now, DVCS was using the scaler map ~/scripts/scaler.map.26jun10
which was created during APEX and which I have saved with that name.
I've updated this scaler.map file to have the norm channel in slot 3.
Previously halog entries of DVCS used slot 1 which is a helicity
gated scaler and was 1/2 the rate. However, the raw scaler data
recorded with the datafile are ok, just the halog was confused.
I've also updated halla_scaler_process.tcl to include
1) deadtime correction factor for DVCS = 1 - T10/T5
2) helicity-related info like the approx. charge asy.
3) Look at the Test of helicity gates (here 21.6 sec). If this is big there
is a problem with helicity.
