Highlights:
Smooth production on DVCS kine 3-low, hydrogen target
Timeline:
- 1:00: initial check out of configurations: DAQ configuration is
TrigDVCSNoC, 3A beam no raster, 15 cm LH2 target, beam position is
A(x,y)=0.0, -0.0, B(x,y)=0.0, 0.0. LHRS nmr locked, P0=1.864 GeV. HV
detectors are on, DC currents on calo are low (max value is
~0.16). Compton rates are amazingly low (~2.0 kHz/uA beam cavity on,
60 kHz/uA beam cavity off). T5 is not prescaled and rates
are ~147 Hz, deadtime ~15%.
- 2:45: MCC calls to report that the vacuum valves before and
after the target chamber tripped off (close) and then reset by
themselves after a few minutes. Indeed we are seeing an excursion in
the vacuum strip chart (halog). Beside
that nothing bips or looks strange, so we resume production. This
happened at the very end of run 8746.
- 3:05: Julie asks Hisham to take a ps9 only run (with
configuration TrigDVCSNoC), that was a bad idea, we should have gone
to LEFTHRS config, the DAQ hangs
up. Run 8747 and 8748 are junk. Had to restart coda, abandon this
little test.
