The previous shift completed optics runs for dp/p=-4, -3, -2 % and was doing -1%. We continued optics run -1%. Found that fast raster was on for all the previous optics runs. Requested MCC to turned off fast raster. Repeated optics @ -1%, then 0%. AT 0%, also did Septum field scan (current: 475A, 455A adn 435A.). We are taking a break on optics to allow beamline (BCM calibration and superharp investigation). There were problems with super harps: two new superharps (1H04 and 1H05A) each has one non-wroking wire, and could not be read out. Tim talked to Tony, who checked and did some work on superharps yesterday. Tim informed me that from hadrware points of view, the superharp (with two wires) should work. He will check with software group to find out if the data can be decoded. Alexander did harp scan and they did not work. Seems hung when insert the wires. Alexandre talked to MCC (Jay?) and said they will first try reboot ioc to see if it fixs problem or not. If not we may need exprt help with an access to check them out. Alexandre and company started BCM/Tengsten Calorimter calibration and it is still on-going.
