keyword=LHRS Q3 scale down optics studyJixie took a run in which LHRS Q3 field was scaled down to simulate the possible RHRS Q3 scale down effect, since LHRS has a verified optics matrix. Here are plots of the dp spectrum and tg_th vs tg_ph sieve hole pattern. First two plots: #2853, normal HRS setting, empty target with LHe, dp=0% The other two plots: #2854, LHRS Q3 scale down, empty target with LHe, dp=0% We can see the acceptance does not change much, while the dp resolution gets worse a lot.
