    keyword=Swing shift summary

    Shift workers:
    J. P. Chen (SL), J. Shields (TO), Y. Zhao (3rd), J. Zhang (optics expert).

16:00 Shift starts, Waiting for beam. We are draining liquid helium before beam went away. Pause draining when beam is not available.

16:44 Beam is back, contiinue draining. Taking pointing optics data at the same time.

17:04 Started optics study with beam position scan (0,0)

    18:08 Moved beam to (0,4)

18:49 Moved beam to (0,8), Rates were too high and target started to warm. Move to (0,6)

    19:25 Moved beam to (0,-4)

20:02 Moved beam to (0,-6). We did try (0,-8) but the rates were very high.

    20:39 Moved beam to (-4,-4)

    20:55 Moved beam to (-6,0)

    21:22 Moved beam to (6,0)

21:50 Finished beam position scan. Move beam back to (0,0). Started acceptance calib. Turn faster raster on.

22:24 turned slow raster on at 500 mV, fast raster still 2x2. Saw
hot spot in spot++, target temperature rose. Rate increase slightly.
Tried to move targte by one mm, did not work.
Targte expert James called the counting house and came in to look at the problem.
We moved beam by 1 mm, hot spot went away.
James investugate the target position with varying raster size.
Moving RHRS to -3.5%, cycled, still waiting for it to settle.
Moved LHRS to -4%, cycled. Then moved to 0% for James to use for study target position issue.
Will need to move to -4% (cycle again) for the delta scan.
