Status Update
We were able to collect data smoothly till 9 AM. Moller measuement start at 9:30 AM. During MCC tuning the beam for moller the target magnet quench. The target group looked into it and bring the field back with 2 hours. Good news is that this was a mini quench and nothing was damaged. After that there was FSD issue which was solved a bit later. Then we went back to production. Beam recovery vey smoothly, but polaized th target took some time due to the LHe level in target nose not stable. We eventually get on the road by 15:00.
Left arm pion rejector HV was accidently turned off at about 9:30 AM. Please made halog should there be any changes. The 3rd person should also monitor the data quality and find out the problem as quick as possible.
Future plan:
Tonight in swing shift, hall c will try to test their control to the beam halo. Probably last for 45 minutes. Shift leader need to do breed through during and after that time.
Tomorow we will have another anneal (2 hours). During this anneal hall C will play with the pocket cell. Shift leader should check and make sure at the end everything should return to the same situation as before. During the anneal Pengjia will calibate teh calorimater. By 8:30 AM Monday, we will move the chicane. We have to inrease the BAU efficiency otherwise we will not be able to finish the run plan. -- Best Regards, Jixie Zhang
