    keyword=Plan for Tonight

    While we tried to finagle moving the spot change from next Monday to tonight, the stars did not quite align. There were too many parties to convince and call back to the lab, and by the time we got close, it was a bit too late in the evening for the other halls to risk a complicated operation that might jeopardize beam for the rest of the night.

    So, for the remainder of the night we will continue as planned. We will take a quick beam center check on the carbon-hole target, using Jixie's offset written on the whiteboard to center at the cup center. Then we will proceed with the Moller. Once the Moller is done, we go on with BPM and BCM calibrations.

    Any additional time can be used for an offline target TE, although this is a very low priority; move the target cup into the field and start taking data and it can be used for an offline measurement. Setting the run valve to a constant 0.17 will make the measurement even better. This is essentially better than doing nothing at all.

    To allow the techs to start work on the Septum as soon as possible, we need to have the hall in restricted access by 7:30AM, so the owl shift leader should call for a sweep no later than 6:30AM tomorrow morning.
