    keyword=target amp fault

    What is likely happening is when you move the target to one extreme (top
    cell) and add such a large offset the encoder will think you are on the
    wrong side of the limit switch. Trying to move away from that position
    would cause a fault when it then tries to cross back over the limit.

    When you get the amp fault is the target gui also saying you've hit the hi
    or low limit? You can fix the issue rather easily in the hall by manually
    jogging the motor back over the limit, then running home to reset the
    encoder value, this might also work from PDP using relative jogging?
