Meeting held at JLab in room 16/84 from 10am to 12am with:
Jeff, Charles, Tom, Albert and Franck

    Report

    • RTV cookie/mold: Jeff and Charles tried to make a cookie (without the PMT). THe cookie looks good except that maybe it would be worth polishing the mold a bit more. Next step is to make a cookie with the PMT. We noticed that the cookie might be slightly larger than the titanium flange. We might want to get the cookie slightly smaller for the next mold we are going to build.

    •
    • Parts ordering: Larry can start having a price estimate for the various mechanical parts. Vendors are still working on that. Artush is updating his drawings so they look like the JLab standard. That might require more work. We want to make the machine shop produce one round of all the mechanical parts to make sure we're not making any mistake.

    •
    • Circuit board: The "practice" circuit boards are currently being cut by machine shop. They're supposed to be delivered either this friday or tuesday next week. We will still have to drill the holes (solder points), but that shouldn't take long. We're out of components to practice on, and I will order more so we get everything handy by next wednesday.

    •
    • Gain monitoring system: Charles pointed out we might want to check different prototypes of gain monitoring systems with our 25-array prototype. Unfortunately, we need a laser or flashlamp for most prototypes and that what's drives the cost. We'll try to investigate if we can find something to borrow at JLab or SLAC.
