Meeting held at JLab in room 16/84 from 10am to 12am with:
Jeff, Clive, Tom, Bogdan, Mike, Albert, Artush and Franck

    Report

    • RTV cookie/mold: I gave the new mold to Jeff so he can start doing cookies right away. He will give them to Albert on monday if possible so Albert can test the optical coupling for the next meeting. Albert is not sure though the meniscus is big enough. I personnally think the spring is not strong enough. I checked one base with force applied and no force applied and basically the optical coupling was the same.

    •
    • Parts ordering(drawing/ordering): I'll give the new drawings to Larry Munk at the end of this week to have a new cost estimate.

    •
    • Circuit board/Components: We will receive the first 50 on monday or tuesday next week. I will give a few to Albert so he can check that everything is right as it should be. Then I will ask the company to send the remaining 750 in about a 2 week delay. The components are supposed to arrive early next week also.

    •
    • Cooling system: Nothing new. Albert showed us a prototype of a cooling "line" for the real thing. It it composed of a "big" hose on each column of the calorimeter. Then small hoses connected to the big one go to each base. It also has the cables clamped to it. Albert criticized himself his prototype: the air flow was very different from one hose to another. He had a drawing to show us of the next thing he will try. Ask him directly for details.

    •
    • Tube cutting at ODU: 240 housing tubes are cut already. It will take about a month to get the 800 big tubes ready and another 2 weeks for the small ones (circuit board housing).

    •
    • Updated task list: We mostly talked about who is doing what for when during this meeting and I consequently updated the task list and timetable.
