Meeting held at JLab in room 16/84 from 10am to 10:30am with:
Mike, Albert, Artush,  David and Franck

    Report

    • RTV cookie/mold: Albert did not have any time to test the cookies, but will do it for next week.

    •
    • Parts ordering:   I've just had the result of the bidding process for our parts: the Aluminum and Titanium flanges, both parts of the socket and the retaining ring:

    •   The $75,000 you heard about were based upon budgetary estimates before the tolerances were changed and adjusted reasonably to insure adequate fundings were available to complete the procurement. In the meantime, Bogdan, Artush have worked a lot to reduce the tolerances and have relaxed the delivery times.

In fact, the company was chosen on tuesday this week for a total of $29,904.00 which is about what we planned for those parts at the very beginning !

The not-so-good consequence of this is that the delivery times are the following:

      - 200 of each 9/30/99
      - 200 more of each 10/29/99
      - 200 more of each 11/29/99
and complete delivery on or before 12/17/99.

The bottomline of this is that we may have quite enough funds to get decent connectors for our calorimeter. We might want to discuss this in the calorimeter meeting next week. By then I will have details on what funds are left on the account and what we can afford.
