1. To do a calorimeter replay

• Log onto adaql4 as user adaq


• Go to the /adaql3/home/adaq/e99114/rcs_replay directory by typing 'goreplay'


• Type './replay' at the prompt. This will run a program that reads from the CODA datafile and writes to a ROOT file.


• Input the run number, number of events to analyze. Analyze at least 20000 events.


• At the prompt, type 'root' to open a ROOT session.


• At the command prompt, type '.x display.C' to run the script to display the histograms that were just filled.


• Press 'Enter' as directed to move to the next display.
