Minutes: SBS Meeting March 4, 2015

Agenda:    Robin - update on SBS engineering projects

2) Andrew/Freddy - Update on simulations. 
   Bogdan said it will be interesting where the background coming in the simulation. 
   Bogdan will give field map for simulation. Bogdan said the large size of the field map file size is a challenge. 
   Andrew mentioned that GRINCH has build in magnetic shielding, but can not quantify how much the field will be. 
   In Hermes under 100 Gauss field PMT operated without problem. Seamus said that implementing fringe field in 
   GEANT4 is not done so it will not effect the performance of the PMTs. 
   
   Brian said that it will be nice to keep the capability to allow particles to shower even if the detector is not 
   a sensitive detector. Andrew said that the code already does and changing it is not difficult and con be done.
