Target work is on track and engineering at JLab is underway
Lists milestones

Had review in March to settle design

Bench tests of metal/glass cells have started

Bigbite fringe fields are a real issue
Shows CAD models

Will be using old transversity coils

Target box and coils can accomodate all GEn configurations

Learned we have more flexibility with transition glasses than anticipated

Learned annealing affects spin-relaxation strongly

Have developed method for producing specific thicknesses in walls

Polarization performance looks to exceed GEn requirements
