Bellow are the results of some quick analysis of the optics data from the May/June
experiment, using a sieve slit but a continuous LH2 target with raster on.
Run # 1565.
The plot is that of th vs. ph for left spectrometer, where th and ph are the
target coordinates CORRECTED for beam position.
The crossing of lines is where the sieve holes are located PLUS a
fixed and yet unknown (x,y) offset.
cuts -- abs(z)<4mm. (corresponds to y_tg=+/-1.4mm)
A quick look shows rather large abberations in ph.
However we have to take into account that this run was done at very high
momentum -- p=3.6GeV -- while the data was analyzed with a database
for ~1.5-3GeV. It has been known that at these momentums the
optics becomes less reliable, hence a new calibration should be done.
