- How to become a polarized 3He target
operator:
- Contact J.P.Chen (x7413) for training;
- Read polarized 3He target operational safety procedure
(OSP);
- Sign OSP in the target binder located in the counting house;
- Read Target operator procedures;
- Get trained for general information and responsibilities;
- Take one TO shift with a target expert;
- Now you are a qualified to take TO shift, if you feel comfortable to do so.
- How to become a laser operator:
- Inform J.P.Chen that you would like to be laser trained;
- Contact Patty Hunt for information about eye examination and training;
- Have eye examination at a qualified clinic;
- Contact Patty Hunt for laser training;
- Read Laser standard operation procedure;
- Sign laser standard operation procedure located outside the laser hut;
- Brief on the system specifics with laser supervisor or trainer
designated by the laser supervisor;
- Get entry code to laser hut from laser supervisor or trainer
designated by the laser supervisor;
- Now you are qualified to operate lasers, if you feel comfortable
to do so.
- How to become an EPR operator:
- Inform J.P.Chen that you would like to be EPR trained;
- Contact an EPR expert for training;
- Read EPR operation procedures;
- Get trained from an EPR expert;
- Perform 1 or 2 EPR measurement with an EPR expert;
- Now you are qualified for EPR measurement, if you feel comfortable to do so;
