See also this page for a general
description of work disks.
IMPORTANT:
Work disks are scratch space and have no backups.
Keep important files in /home or in MSS.
- On March 26, 2009, the computer center has decommissioned all
old fileservers except for /w/halla, /w/halla-1, and /w/work56*.
This means /w/work310*, /w/work360*, /w/work530*, and
several others have disappeared forever.
This generally affected experiments older than 3 years.
- This had been announced repeatedly since January 2009.
- The links /work/halla/*/disk*.OLD point to the disks that disappeared.
I'll keep these links around for awhile, but the links themselves will be
deleted at some point.
- Some very old experiments like e89033 no longer
have disk.
- Here is a Snapshot of existing disks.
