Signs of the Polarizations

Target Polarization

The sign of the field was checked with a Hall probe which was in turn double checked using the Moeller dipole and also a coil with a visible direction of winding.

Beam Polarization

The sign of the beam polarization was estimated on Apr,28-30 data (HAPPEX). For the 1/2 wavelength plate removed, during the logical "1" of the sync. wave the beam polarization occured to be positive .
