17:40 The oven is set at 170 degrees C and is stable. I turned the three longitudinal lasers on. Patricia wanted to know the overshoot temperature, which was about 174.1 degrees. The reason the temperature may be lower besides laser alignment is I changed the orientation of the oven RTD plate, so it possibly gets less laser light now. The current cell is Duke. We need to check the system out to make sure we understand the effects of the changes made to the position of the pick-up coils. Since Duke is well tested, we decided to check the lifetime measurement with Duke.

Note: I checked the Spectrum analyzer at the new position (beside the oven RTD). We get just enough laser light to see a nice absorption peak. I say just enough because at this location, the signal is not saturated compared to the previous location. Next I need to check to see if we can use the same location for the fiber for transverse laser light.
