GeN Software Meeting Jan 17, 2006

This day we got reports from several people, and came up with
some action items (shown in blue).

1.Shigeyuki Tajima
Learning analyzer.  Agreed to work on Neutron arm checkout.

2. Ole Hansen
Will help with analyzer.

3. Rob Feuerbach
Hit-based detector of tracks in Neutron detector.
Setting up online (ADAQ) software: Rob, Ole, and Seamus to agree on a scheme

4. Xiadong Jiang
Plans to work on optics.

5. Seamus Riordan
Just arrived in NN.  Was working on an event display.
Working with Gregg Franklin in a dispatch facility that 
organizes the analysis components.
Will discuss the dispatch facility with Ole and
report at next meeting.

6. Aiden Kelleher
Working on the online shift worker GUI.  
Will show a demo next meeting.

7. Arie Beck
Event chamber display including shower counter.
Will show a demo next meeting.

6. Brandon Craver
Chamber 3 operational, working on further checks.
After that will work on the trigger tests (timing & DAQ stress).

8. Jonathan Miller 
Learning Igor's scripts. Agreed to work on Neutron arm checkout.

9. Ameya Kolarkar
Working on helicity, raster, BPM, THaDecData, RF timing.
Will show histograms/results next meeting
Wrote new GeN web page.  Send commments/info to him.  Now we need
to add useful content. Discussion of content next meeting.

10. Nerses Gevorgyan
Just arrived from Yerevan.  Will work on Neutron arm checkout.

11. Brad Sawatsky 
Working with Brandon on DC checks and trigger tests.

12. Bogdan Wojtsekhowski
Wants a discussion of near-term needs for online.
Will discuss this at the next meeting.

13. Steve Wood
Wrote a TCL package for scaler server.

14. Sergey Abrahamyan
Numerous successful checks of Bigbite leadglass in Hall A.
Several problems fixed.
DAQ Tasks : ped suppr., halog/EPICS scripts, synch. checks, etc
