Meeting for Nov 8, 2006

Talks

I will be presenting nearly the same talk tomorrow at SESAPS as was shown at the DNP meeting. The DNP talk can be found here.

I would like to collect the DNP talks, at least for our use.

Raw Asymmetries

What is interesting is to look at the asymmetries we are getting from the Neutron, Proton, and "background" events.
  1. Identifying neutrons
  2. Background Asymmetry as function of Q2
  3. Proton Asymmetry as function of Q2
  4. Neutron Asymmetry as function of Q2

Todo to "finish" first pass of kinematics 4

  1. Get Corrections to the asymmetry, including
    1. Beam charge asymmetry (<.1% typically)
    2. Electronic dead time ratio: (POS/MIN) ~ 1.00045 for run 4490
    3. DAQ dead time (in progress)
  2. Calculate kinematic correction factors for finite acceptance of BigBite (nearly done)
