Update on Analysis Progress Oct 28, 2008 Last week: spoke with Seamus about the fitting program used to correct the rate dependence for the proton/neutron conversion. This week: implemented the program. I seem to have a problem fitting to the production data. 1) recommendation from Todd: instead of fitting to an exponential, use approx. to simplify problem. 2) recommendation from Jon: function may not be getting the correct data. Have been checking the data for the production runs, and I was loading the wrong data into the fitting program (basically, a syntax error that came from using a subset of the data). This is corrected. I can fit to production data now, as well as nitrogen and hydrogen. EXT PARAMETER STEP FIRST NO.
