We asked MCC to setup for Moller running at 00:30.
At about 1:15 the beam was sent, but the position
was finally adjusted only at 1:50.

We finished the minimal Moller program by 5:45 and tried
to run the calorimeter tests for the rest 1h. The latter failed, because of some electronics or DAQ problem. It was too late for
control access, and we continued running Moller tests
instead.

Summary:
1) The Moller test was successful (~5h)
The beam polarization was about 85%
2) The calorimeter test failed. We will try to find out
the reason during the access today.

Moller measurements 14:00-17:45
a) it turned out that the MOller dipole had been turned ON before
we started. The dipole should be normally turned off.
b) setting up the quads and FSD took quite a lot of time

Energy=1.52 GeV
Wien angle= -5o - should be close to optimum

Results:
target 5 (SM) P=-88.8±0.2(stat)
target 3 (Fe) P=-86.8±0.2(stat)
The sign is explained here

Preliminary result: target 5 : -82.2+/-0.3+/-3(syst) % This results can be compared with -86.5% measured on March 10. The Wien angle seems to be close to optimum (Hall A polarization should be about 0.98 of the full value).

We also measured other targets, the results will be posted later, however they are also closer to 80% than to 90%.

before going back to production running Hall B wants to do Moller measurements. They will alert us when they are ready to go.

Wien filter = 76.4 deg should provide a polarization of about 0.953
of the max. value.

Target 5: -86.5±0.15(stat)% (the conditions similar
to the previous measurements)
Other targets have been scanned, the results will be posted later.

The measured beam polarization is:
Target 5: +88.2±0.14(stat)%
We also made a scan with target 4. The results will
be posted later.
