1. Dp reconstruction has been improved to FWHM ~ 1.5.10-3 2. A set of strict cuts are defined at the focal plane: These cuts depend on ph_fp, y_fp and dp (which carry information on x_fp and th_fp) and define a volume in the ph_fp, y_fp and dp space at the focal plane. Each node of this volume is the centroid of a sieve image. These cuts are to be applied to all physics data. 3. A corresponding set of cuts are defined at the target. These cuts define a volume in ph_tg, th_tg and dp. The acceptance in y_tg being determined by the target collimators. 4. The target cuts will be used in the simulation, which already has the target collimators in it, to calculate the acceptance for the data selected by the focal plane cuts. 5. The cross sections thus calclated for the elestic data will be used to determine the accuracy of the acceptance. 6. A second set of loose cuts have been defined to select the acceptable region of ph_tg, th_tg and dp for the asymmetry data. In principal a cross section can be calculated under this cut too, but the accuracy will be less.
