Notes from local software meeting on 13 July 2005

New things in software:

• Prompt analysis:
  • Prompt analysis script and macros modified to handle different dither/regress configurations. TODO: update prompt.macro for this year's beamline instrumentation [RICH, consulting with BRYAN]
  • Dithering slopes -- TODO: Script to read slopes from multiple runs and average them -- not done yet [HASHEMI].
• Multirun analysis:
  • TODO:
    • Add dither corrections -- not done yet, will be after weekend [BRYAN].
    • Generate output -- not done yet, needs information from Bryan. [RYAN].
    • Document -- not done yet. [BRYAN].

Specific tasks to be done:

• Check out feedback -- code has been compiled, GUI is OK, ready for beam check. [BRYAN].
• Check out beam modulation; mods for communications with other halls -- not done yet. There are complications having to do with what to do if feedback restoration fails, etc. Needs more thought and possibly changes in what we agreed to give Hall C. [KENT, BOB].
• Commission cavities -- regression and dithering -- ready to go. [LISA].
• Check phase advance -- ready to go. [KENT].
• New blinding string -- not done yet. (Will use same blinding parameters as last year.) [BRYAN, LISA].

Responsibilities during run:

TODO: Schedule WACs -- not done yet, still waiting to hear from a couple of people. Will do this week. [RICH].

TODO: Update run sheets [RICH, consulting with LISA].
