Notes from Local Meeting June 27, 2005

• Tim Holmstrom -- Working on Optics Commissioning Plan. Will discuss with Rob Feuerbach the implications of not using water cell target, or of postponing it until October.
• Bryan Moffit -- S0 is finished. Has also been working on improvements to the online analyzer, e.g. optionally including dithering and regression. Documentation ready.
• Kent Paschke -- Has been working on installation and run plan. Also has written a new proposal (ask him for details).
• Lisa Kaufman -- Working on PMT linearity studies. Some improvements using a bigger black box.
• Lindsay Glesener --
  • Working on FLUMI detector with Riad. To be installed in July 4 down.
  • Presented results on new Cavity Monitor data. The BSY cavity position signals are absent, but Musson says they exist in EPICS. One of the cavity sets near the target appears to work except that BCM is saturated and the two sets (#2 which is 10 m from target and #3 which is 2m) are apparently swapped in our datastream. The other set doesn't work (Musson to fix it in July 4 down). Lindsay and Bryan Moffit will investigate further.
• Piotr Decowski -- Working on the Qsq scanner.
