Cooling system



One of the 3 position for the slug is the cooling down position : the temperature of the slug had risen during the beam exposure, and since it's in vacuum, we need a cooling system.


    The cooling plate makes the contact with the slug, as shown on the picture bellow, the support plate with the base of the vacuum chamber.
It is also covered with fibers to allow good temperature transferts with the slug.

The ceramic plate isolate the cooling plat from the rest (saving of time).
