    We ran optics runs with quite high deadtimes, up to 80%. We found no linear
    relationship between the coda event rate and the deadtime. For example, run
    1175 had an event rate of 630 with a 10% deadtime and 1176 a rate of 1.3k and 35%
    deadtime. Scaler rates were quite different of course. We don't understand this.
