    ROC14 froze, and vdc thresholds disappeared. We rebooted ROC14 (but had not noticed the vdc thresholds). jSpot still would not run from ET but worked on files. Espace of course did not work as the event decoder saw huge events.

    We re-loaded the discriminator thresholds, shut down runcontrol and started again. Currently deadtime is fine (5%), event rate is 300 Hz, we have 94 uA, and spot is working on the ET. Bob Michaels and Bodo and Doug helped speed up our de-bugging of this and we only lost a few minutes.

    Bob also says if we again run spot the switches of interest are:
    spot -f -n -p -v
    or just spot -h
    for help.

    runs 3063 through 3067 are questionable as the events are huge, few in number
    and not useful.
