NO BEAM FOR THE ENTIRE SHIFT
(Actually there was about 10 minutes of very unstable beam.)

    Additional Comments

16:00 There was a fire alarm in South Linac toward the end of last shift and
we begin this shift without beam.
16:55 MCC called to inform us that beam will be down for at least another
    20 minutes.
17:55 Called MCC to find out the status of the beam and was told that they
had vacuum problems and will take at least another 30 minutes.
19:00 Looking at ELOG entries suggested that they continued to have
    vacuum problems.
20:50 MCC called to give us beam.
20:55 40 uA CW beam in the hall!!! Will continue to ramp beam up to 100 uA.
21:15 Beam kept on tripping off. MCC called to take beam away to fix the
tripping problem. We did not start data taking since beam was
    very unstable.
22:05 Called MCC to find out the tripping status and was told that the
tripping problems occured in the injector. They are in the process
of replacing some of the cards and will take about 20 minutes before
getting the beam back IF all go well; otherwise it may take longer to
    get the beam back.
22:15 MCC called to inform us that it will take at least another 45 minutes
    before trying to get beam.
23:15 Still no sign of any beam!!! Will we be lucky enough to see any beam
    before midnight???
23:45 MCC called to let us know that they found the problem with bad
orbit. Will send us pulsed beam soon.
24:00 No luck for any beam for this shift!
