    keyword=L-arm helicity problems

    I looked briefly at helicity in the events using code in adaql1:~adaq/helchk (actually
    I worked in /tmp directory so as not to interfere with Vince) and ~adaq/synchana.
    See README in both places. BTW, make sure run.list has a carriage return, I
    think it helps.

    Anyway, it looks like the helicity data is screwed up on L-arm in both scalers and
    in the events. This suggests a common hardware origin. The R-arm looks ok.
    Before taking access, I suggest the shift workers look at the cabling and electronics
    in the counting room where the helicity is fanned out. I can't imagine what is wrong
    yet, but it could be that some cable got kicked and is loose or destroyed (this is
    quite possible, since much traffic moves there). If this doesn't work, let me know
    when you want me to take access on L-arm and check the modules -- probably a
    busted module or a flakey cable.
