we had another spurious HV alarm on the left arm @ 0235.
at about 2355, there was another HV alarm on the left arm. when it happened, Eugene had a quick look at the rates while the left arm HV screen was all red. all the rates were stable and looked reasonable. he also had a look at the HV settings and they all looked fine to him.
yesterday, Bob M, made the observation that if the HV was really tripping off and recovering, the voltage would be ramped up slowly. therefore the recovery would take longer than just a few seconds.
the consensus seems to be that the alarm occurs b/c of some "communicaton" problem and NOT b/c something is actually wrong with the HV. so procedure should be:
(1) log all HV alarms
(2) verify that all HV channels go back to "green" state
(3) check detector replay more carefullier for that run
(4) if in doubt, compare HV settings to screenshots taken before (see halog).
