    keyword=TECHS: RQ1 trip

    At about 0206, RQ1 tripped off for some reason. This occurred at about the 96k point (out of 100k) at the end of run 3031. See fig 1, for a screenshot of the magnet power supply gui immediately after the trip. We checked the magnet cryolevels for all the magnets. They all look okay. To recover from the trip, we followed the following procedure:

    (1) Waited for the readback current to reach 0.0 A.
    (2) Recorded the set current = 1768.16926.
    (3) Reset the magnet power supply.
    (4) Set the magnet current to 0.0 A.
    (5) Turned the magnet on.
    (6) Set the current to 20.0 A and waited for the readback to successfully reach 20.0 A.
    (7) Set the current to 1768.16926 A.
    (8) Waited for RQ1 to reach the setpoint.

    At 0216, we asked for beam off to allow the septa to cool while we waited for RQ1 to ramp up. The ramp rate appears to be about 2.78 Amp/sec. RQ1 has recovered at 0219. We asked for 35.5 µA, checked the raster spot (3.2mm by 3.2mm), and started run 3032.

    See fig 2. for the hall A tools after recovery.
