We got many prestart failed : ROC17 could not talk to the msql database. I checked a rate on the calorimeter using the Xscaler and forgot to close it right after which must have resulted in eating all the network sockets. I only thought about it after the second run.
I am not totally convinced that this is the only reason why ROC17 loose since I saw this error even when the Xscaler on the calorimeter was not running, but having the Xscaler running on the calorimeter definitely makes it worse. I have not tried yet Bob's vxworks kernel which should solve this issue since everything was running smoothly until now but I will give it a try at the next maintenance day.
