Summary Fine night for taking production data.
Noticed that the DHCP server isn't serving out IP addresses for anyone
connecting to the ethernet through the HUB (for laptops) in the counting
room. Also cannot connect via wireless (signal strength is fine). Bummer.
Some troubles with Compton DAQ.
Some deadtime issues with HRS/DVCS DAQ.
Significant Events
- 00:00 Began the shift in the middle of
Run 4613.
- 02:30 Noticed that the Compton stripchart
wasn't showing any Compton Rates since 01:44 (even though a Compton
run was still in progress). Alexandre is trained, and
fixes the problem by ending the run and starting a new one.
- 03:06 Another problem with the Compton
Rates not showing up in the Compton Stripchart (since 03:03). The GUI
appears to freeze (no EPICS readback) when this occurs. Alexandre's
fix here (halog entry 136514).
- 03:50 Same Compton Problem (halog entry
136517).
- 04:25 Datamon says the Total Deadtime =
89%. Seems quite large. Run 4619 ended
and Run 4620 started and ended to try to
diagnose the problem. Alexandre fixed it.. (halog entry 136526).
- 05:17 Asked MCC for a bleed-through measurement... 2.74% (elog entry 1244538 on-site only).
