keyword=Happex cavity receiver work todayFrom 2:25pm to 5:00pm parasitic work on the cavity receivers was done. phase offsets, pre and post gains were changed to optimize the perceived performance.
Some unsettled issues with the measured phase remain [the raster is confusing us], but the position information looks OK.
Distortion observed on Friday is no longer present.
figure 1 below shows a screen shot of scatter plots of the position and phase data from the two cavities just before the target.
The top three plots are the X information middle three plots are the Y information the bottom two plots show the X vs Y of the beam at the two cavities, the raster pattern is seen.
All values are arbitary, the DAC on the receivers puts out 2 to 6 Volts with 4V=0 for position and phase.
the BSY receiver was also configured interms of gains. the phases on the
BSY need to be set, once the proper values are found in the archives.
