How to perform the "sign check":

    1) End the current run in the HAPPEX DAQ.

    2) as user apar on _adaql1_, type feedback off

    3) From the accelerator medm menu, under the menu for the electron gun/polarized source, open the "hall parity controls" menu. Find the Hall A IA cell setpoint, which should currently be near 5. Set this parameter to 10.

    4) Start the moller DAQ, Compton DAQ, and happex DAQs. It is not necessary to have beam or particular beam conditions, beyond the need for the Compton and Moller polarimeters to be triggering.

    5) Check "BCM asymmetries" page of the online monitor (PANGUIN) to see that the HAPPEX DAQ sees a large charge asymmetry, on order of -1500 ppm.

    6) After 5 minutes of data, end the run on each DAQ. Return the Hall A IA setpoint to 5. make a halog noting that this test has been done, and giving the three run numbers.
