    Spectrometer DAQ Runs. Left HRS only. I = 0.26 uA
    Rates:
    T1 = T2 = 0

    Run 2837 -- Check at nominal setting P0L = 3.1234 GeV
    Oops ! One of the S2 PMTs was off. We turn it on now.

    Run 2838 -- Same but the beam will be turned on & off with 50%
    duty cycle. This helps to subtract noise and examine neutral
    background.

    Now we vary the beam current. Previous was I = 0.26 uA

    Run 2839 -- I = 0.57 uA
    T3 = 325 kHz
    T4 = 277 kHz
    T8 = 447 kHz

    Run 2840 -- I = 0.116 uA
    T3 = 63.4 kHz
    T4 = 53.7 kHz
    T8 = 93.6 kHz

    Run 2841 -- I = 0.327 uA
    T3 = 188 kHz
    T4 = 160 kHz
    T8 = 260 kHz

    Run 2842 -- I = 0.05 uA (i.e. 50 nA)
    Run 2843 -- repeat with better prescale factors

    T3 = 12 kHz
    T4 = 10 kHz
    T8 = 23.7 kHz

    Go back to "normal". I = 0.21 uA
    Run 2844 (wrong PS), then 2845, short runs to check repeatability.

    Observation about EPICS position data: For "low" current the
    positions read zero. At 0.4 uA they are nonzero and look
    like correct high-current positions 4A = (+1,6,0), 4B = (-1,4,0).
    We'll run at 0.4 uA subsequently. Details:

    <= 0.20 uA zeros on all EPICS positions
    <= 0.26 uA zeros positions 4A,4B (but nonzero on 8,12)
    At 0.33 uA BPM4A reads nonzero, BPM4B reads zero.
    >= 0.40 uA all BPMS read nonzero and look correct.
