    keyword=Be window replacement

    Was called for a beam line valve cycling problem. Determined that it was a Be window leak by closing the 04B valve and watching the presure rise.

    With Radcon support (thanks Zack) and under the observation of Industrial Hygine (thanks Steve) changed out the window.

    Aligned the Be window flange to the V grove support and tie wrapped it into position. the tie wraps were not nessesary but I thought they looked pretty, and it will give some indication of the amount of radiation we see there.

    Blead up the beam line upstream of the valve and opened the 04 valve. did this to prevent a shock to the Be window.

    Pumped the beam line back to the mid -5 range and returned control of valves to MCC.
