1) Temperature Sensor. I added 2 RTDs onto the flange that holds the Be window. These RTDs can be read out on the target computer. They appear directly below the laser spectrum, in the same window. "RTD 5" is the RTD at the top of the flange, and "RTD 6" is at the bottom of the flange.
2) Airflow. At Bogdan's suggestion, and with his help, I added an a supply of air to flow over the Be window. There are 2 concerns that this addresses: first, this is adds some cooling to the window; second, there is evidence that we might be getting chlorine from the PVC pipe used for the helium bag, and this air will keep the chlorine from interacting with the window.
