    keyword=Left HRS Movement problems

    At the risk of repeating ourselves, the HRS movement is very jerky and halts quite often (almost every half-degree), this is not an electronics problem (I think), but rather looks like a mechanical/friction problem with the Hall floor. The best workaround I have found is to close and reopen the bogies_LEFT windows every time it stops and in some cases back up the HRS and then move forward to try and gain as much momentum as possible. It took more than 2 hours to move about 20 degrees this way!! We definetely need to think about changing the run plan order, it is much more time-efficient right now to cycle the magnets than to move the HRS.
